Shirley Daisy

A passionate vocalist and vocal coach, Shirley Daisy grew up surrounded by an eclectic mix of music genres, from Herman van Veen to Whitney Houston, thanks to her mother’s love for diverse music styles. Her early exposure to the jazz scene, made possible by her mother’s close relationship with Bob Brookmeyer, sowed the seeds for her deep-rooted love of jazz music. Inspired by memorable performances, such as those of Candy Dulfer, Shirley became motivated to get on stage herself and share her passion for music with the audience.

After her time at theater school, Shirley discovered her own singing talent and decided to further develop herself at the Conservatory. Her studies included both jazz and pop, combining her love for various musical styles.

Shirley’s musical journey also included the founding of the pop group Adlicious, which gained fame through their performances both in and outside the Netherlands and their successful participation in X-Factor.

Now she strives to bring her diverse musical background together in her solo projects, with a special focus on Dutch-language music. She wants to continue her passion for sharing atmosphere and energy with the audience, preferably in close contact and interaction.
