Dudu Capoeira plays with major international DJs all over the world.
Originally born in Brazil, he has made his home in the Netherlands since 2006. A versatile artist, he holds the roles of capoeira teacher, percussionist and electronic music producer. His creative journey has brought him together with renowned names such as Benny Benassi, Gregor Salto, Kryder and Leandro da Silva.
Dudu Capoeira’s musical works find their way into the sets of well-known DJs such as Dannic, Nicky Romero and Sunnery James & Ray Marciano, where they add an exciting element to their performances. With a vibrant stage presence, he has performed shows throughout Europe, Dubai and even New York, where his unique blend of rhythm and energy captivates audiences.
Why the stage name Dudu Capoeira? The answer is deeply rooted in his personal history. Since the young age of eight, he has been practicing capoeira, a Brazilian martial art steeped in rhythmic movements and music. His artistic expression reflects this passion, with all his compositions and productions resonating with the essence of capoeira songs and Brazilian percussion.
