Festival Favorites and Trusted Artists’ Band

Founded by trumpeter and arranger Daan Bogers, BOSCO quickly rose to prominence on the Dutch jazz festival circuit. Over the years, the band has collaborated with artists such as Denise Jannah, Joke Bruijs, Antje Monteiro, and Tim Akkerman, and has been a frequent guest on radio and television. In 2020, one of BOSCO’s projects was awarded the prestigious Edison Jazzism Award.

BOSCO’s reputation as a versatile ensemble has led to exciting collaborations beyond their own shows. They powered the Liptease Big Band (featured on Holland’s Got Talent), joined forces with the Rotterdam Ska-Jazz Foundation for the ‘Big Horns’ project, and formed the cult favorite ‘Big Bat’ with psychobilly legends Batmobile.

A Golden Match: BOSCO & Johnny Rosenberg

Since 2021, BOSCO has been performing with Dutch gypsy-crooner Johnny Rosenberg. Their first single, Whatever Lola Wants, marked the beginning of a series of successful live shows and Spotify releases. Their theatrical tour – packed with flair, intimacy, and musical sophistication – runs through spring 2025, with plans for a full album currently in the works.

Ziggo Dome Finale: BOSCO & Peter Douglas

In 2023, BOSCO took the spotlight in the hit TV show The Tribute – Battle of the Bands, joining veteran crooner Peter Douglas in a Sinatra tribute that wowed judges and audiences alike. BOSCO reached the finale and secured a coveted performance in the Ziggo Dome concert series. The success continued with a national theater tour and performances at The Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
