The Maccaferris: Gypsy Jazz in Italian and Frank Sinatra style.

Mario Maccaferri was born in Italy. In 1932 he built his most popular guitar based on a Neapolitan mandolin.

The Maccaferri’s trio embraces this type of guitar to play all the Italian classics in a jazzy but also traditional way. From the old folk songs of Northern Italy to the songs sung with dialect from Napoli and Sicily, our goal is to play the most beautiful songs that Italy has to offer in the style of jazz. In addition, we play and sing pieces by the Italian American Frank Sinatra.

The Maccaferri’s are also available as a duo.
